Cookies and your browser

One optional flag, and nothing that follows you.

This site sets no cookies for visitors, uses no third-party trackers, and keeps its statistics anonymous. This page lists everything the site can store in your browser, and lets you change your choice at any time.

Our approach

Most cookie policies are long because most websites quietly hand your visit to dozens of advertising and analytics companies. This one is short because we do not.

  • No advertising or marketing cookies, ever.
  • No third-party analytics or tracking scripts.
  • No cookies at all for ordinary visitors.
  • One optional, anonymous flag in your browser, kept only if you say yes, so our own statistics can tell returning visitors from new ones.

Even the site’s typefaces are served from our own website rather than from a fonts service, so reading a page here does not announce your visit to anyone else.

Everything this site can store in your browser

This is the complete list. There is nothing else.

Statistics without cookies

We count visits ourselves, on our own server, without cookies and without identifying anyone: no IP addresses are stored, and the anonymous code used to count unique visitors changes every day so visits cannot be linked together. The statistics section of our privacy policy describes exactly what is recorded.

Content from other organisations

Two pages, About us and Hospital to Home, display our official Care Quality Commission rating using the CQC’s own widget. Your browser fetches that small box directly from cqc.org.uk, so the CQC’s servers see the ordinary technical details of that request, as they would if you visited their site. Their privacy statement applies to it.

Elsewhere we simply link out, for example to the CQC, Cloud Medical or a map of how to find us. Nothing loads from those organisations unless you choose to follow a link.

Your choice, and changing your mind

The only thing that needs your permission is the returning-visitor flag. Choose either option below; your answer is saved straight away and you can change it whenever you like.

You have not made a choice in this browser yet.

You can also clear or block storage for any website in your browser’s settings, usually under Privacy. Blocking storage for this site will not break it; we simply ask the cookie question again next time.

If what the site stores ever changes, we will update this page and, where permission is needed, ask you again. This version was published on 28 July 2026.
