This website, pembrokecare.com, is run by Pembroke Care (Reading) Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 06546275, with its registered office at Merlin House, Brunel Road, Reading, Berkshire RG7 4AB. We provide care and accommodation from 32 Alexandra Road, Reading RG1 5PF. You can contact us at enquiries@pembrokecare.com or on 0118 941 4200.
These terms cover your use of the website only. By using the site you accept them; if you do not, please do not use the site. Any stay with us, and any care we provide, is arranged under its own separate written agreement after an assessment, and nothing in these terms changes that agreement.
Information, not advice
The site describes our accommodation, our Hospital to Home pathway and how to enquire. It is general information, offered in good faith. It is not medical, nursing, financial or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for speaking to a doctor, a discharge team or another qualified professional about a particular situation.
Whether Pembroke is the right setting for someone is always decided by an assessment, not by the website. Descriptions of apartments, facilities, availability and typical stays can change, and nothing on the site is an offer capable of acceptance; a stay exists only once a written agreement is in place.
Using the site
You are welcome to use the site for any lawful, personal purpose. Please do not:
- attempt to gain access to the site’s editing tools, accounts or data
- probe, overload or disrupt the site, or introduce malicious code
- submit enquiries that are false, abusive or sent in bulk
- copy the site’s content for commercial use without our written permission
We may suspend or restrict access to the site where necessary to protect it or the people who use it.
Ownership of the content
The text, photographs, illustrations and the Pembroke Care name and logo on this site belong to Pembroke Care (Reading) Limited or are used with their owners’ permission. You may view, print and share pages for personal, non-commercial purposes with attribution. Any other use needs our written permission first.
Links to other websites
The site links to others we do not control, such as the Care Quality Commission, Cloud Medical and mapping services. Those links are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of other websites, and a link is not an endorsement. Our cookie policy explains the one piece of third-party content the site displays, the CQC rating widget.
Our responsibility to you
We take care to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided without guarantees: it may occasionally be unavailable, and information may occasionally be out of date. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on the site’s content or from the site being unavailable.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or affects your statutory rights as a consumer. And nothing here limits our responsibilities to you under a care agreement, or under the regulatory framework that governs our registered service.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute about them; if you live in another part of the UK you may also rely on the courts there.
